Our second Citroen 12/24 Deluxe Saloon was also built at Citroen's factory in Slough, England but a year earlier in 1927.

A brief history

Dorothy, our Burgundy Vintage Citroen, was sold from a dealership in Ipswich, Suffolk during the first week of 1928 and subsequently spent most of her time based around this area.

Both Dorothy and Harriet, our white Vintage Citroen, use lights, fittings, wheels and instruments made by British Companies ‘King of the Road - Lucas', ‘Ripaults of London' whilst the wheels were manufactured by Dunlop.

Dorothy is recorded on the Vintage Citroen Register and is one of only 6 survivors worldwide.

We are fortunate to know the whereabouts of the other surviving vehicles – Harriet, our white Vintage Citroen, joins Dorothy in service as a stunning white wedding car. We have a 3rd under restoration at the moment whilst there are 2 others in the UK and one in Australia (all of which aren't vurrently on the road).

These British built vehicles were fitted out with a luxurious interior (to include a veneered dash board and door cappings), additional instrumentation and an option on 'servo' (power) assisted brakes!

Enhancements to ensure perfect wedding transport

Dorothy, like Harriet, has had some very sensible and concealed modifications made, to allow it to be driven both reliably and safely on today's roads.

Since we have owned this car we have made many modifications to ensure it is reliable and comfortable all year round with new weather-proofing and heaters to enable year-round operation.

Dorothy has even attended a wedding in the snow, performing faultlessly throughout the day - she didn't get stuck like a couple of the guest's modern cars did!
